Rachel Garcia-Dunn is an award winning photographer with a deep
background in cinematography and digital visual effects.
She began her career as a commercial photographer, working internationally
in New York, London, and Los Angeles. As digital imaging emerged,
she became an early pioneer, helping to create the tools
and techniques that would define a new era of visual storytelling.
During her tenure at Digital Domain, she contributed to many iconic
films as well as the development of Nuke, the compositing software that
has become a fundamental tool of the VFX industry.
An interest visual storytelling combined with her passion for creating
striking images, ultimately lead Rachel to cinematography, where
her creative aesthetic and ingenuity help to create a distinctive
look and mood for many narrative films, music videos and commercials.
